Along with the old Mille, the Fiorino van also leave the production line Betim (MG) later this year. In its place will come the utility previously known as Project 2550 XMF. This is a Fiorino with the face of the new Uno, as evidenced by the busted our colleague Marlos Ney Vidal, blog autossegredos, the usual spy news from Fiat.
As can be seen by the pictures busted, the model in durability testing is still a mule – uses the new front and rear of the former Uno Fiorino. The final model, however, will design all based on the new generation hatch, including the concept “rounded square” applied to the sides and taillights. According Marlos, the platform will be mixed: Front of the new Palio (Project 326, which differs somewhat from Uno 327 in size) and the Strada rear, in order to keep the rear suspension with semi-elliptical spring – even the more robust system to take load.
The 1.3 Fire engine (73 hp) that the current team today Fiorino van will lead to 1.4 Fire Evo Uno, with up to 88 hp. The launch is scheduled for 2014.
